Protect Idaho Seniors from Harmful Medicaid Cuts

Our seniors deserve care and dignity – not cuts.

Starting September 1, policymakers in Idaho are cutting Medicaid provider rates by 4%. Nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, intermediate care facilities and home care providers, who haven’t seen a rate increase since COVID, are being forced to do more with less.

These cuts will devastate fragile, vulnerable seniors and families who rely on care every single day across the state.

Idaho families know our seniors deserve stability, compassion and quality care. Now, at the moment when they need us most, government leaders are making choices that threaten their health and safety.

We’re calling on lawmakers to follow the One Big Beautiful Bill and carve out protections for seniors, so they are not included in these harmful reductions.
